(click here for full size) This is what we are going to draw, I choose that pic coz it haves coll shadows (And its really cool) and you will be able to learn something new:) Ok so lets start

Step 1:  Starting with basic sketch.

Step 2:  I always start witch drawing eyes. I did a little shadeing around the eye and I draw upper eyelishes.

Step 3: I coloured iris of the eye. To make it look more realistic I draw some higlight in iris and as you can see I left white line uder the eye (every eye haves that line). Under the white line I draw eyelishes. They are always thinner and lighter at the lower eyelid. And the white areas in eye, they are not white, they always have some higlights.

I started drawing eyebrow which I draw just by doing short lines, some of them should be in different directions and should cross eachothers. 

I put some more shadows around the eye but they doesn’t matter now. What matters is what I start doing on the left corner, we are going to draw from left to right and from top to bottom. Heres a trick: if you dont want to smudge the eye while shading left side of the drawing, cover the eye with white paper;)

Step 4: I finnished shading left side of the drawing. I use 3B pencil to shade light ares near the eye and 6B pencil to shade the dark areas. And I draw some first highlight on hair.

Step 5: Drawing hair is the hardest thing to draw for me and im sure that for many of you too. I started with drawing the darkest parts on the top and than I slowly started makeing highlights. Forehead is the last thing I draw and I used kneaded eraser to make some highlights on forehead. (You can also use Ink Eraser Pencil)

Step 6: I finnished hair. I used mechanical pencil to draw hair in the middle if you know what I mean and 2B and 3B pencil to make the dark highlight.

Step 7: Thumb. Don’t draw a line to separate thumb from his cheek, use shadows;) Basically all thumb is about shadows. First you can soflt shadow all finger and than make darker shadows when its needed.

Step 8:  I finnished thumb and started doing face, I put soft shadows first and I will make them darker later. I also draw right eye (same technique as while drawing left one)

Step 9:  Finnished shadeing nose. Make shades step by step untill they will be dark enough:) I used 3B pencil to shade and 4B pencil for the darkest parts.

Step 10: I’m not really good at drawing hands but I try to help you as much as I can. I started with drawing nails, and than shading first light shades and than I made them darker and darker untill they were looking good.

Step 11: Remember not to separate fingers with lines but with shades. I will say that again, its all about shading;)

For drawing background I used 6B-8B pencils, and now there is no any easy way to draw this background fast and easy.

This is what we are going to draw:

Step 1: 

In the begining I draw basic sketch, its easier to start when you see whole shape of face. Just in case dont draw lines to hard so you could erase them later if something went wrong.

Step 2:

I always start with eyes. First I coloured black areas in the middle of the eyes and than iris, which should be darker up. I draw some eyelishes, remember that they can’t be all in one direction and that the eyelishes at the lower eyelid should be thinner and lighter.

And eybrows, you draw them just by doing short lines.
